Filipino-American composer Darren Matthew Binkowski's music is full of innate contradictions. His work explores the intersection between the natural world and human perspective, expressed through a uniquely digital musical language shaped by a childhood of EDM. With a jazz performance past and a classical composition present, D.M. Binkowski finds himself lost in a sea of disciplines, forever searching for point nemo–– the 'singularity' of musical contradiction. 

His music has been performed by the Lux Musicae Chamber Ensemble, the MiraCosta Oceanside Jazz Orchestra, and by various ensembles of his home institution, the Jacobs School of Music. in 2026, Binkowski attended the soundSCAPE Composition and Performance exchange in Blonay, Switzerland.
